Grand Designs launched in April 2026 after a company-wide layoff opened an unexpected door. Rather than search for another seat at someone else’s table, Myles built his own. The first project set the tone: a quarter-scale, 3D-printed trade-show model of the Vortex V12 wood chipper, designed from production CAD data.
Nine years of engineering — mechanical and electrical design, manufacturing engineering, continuous improvement, and PLM administration — don’t fit on a business card. But they show up in every file the studio delivers.
