Most solo CAD shops can model. Far fewer have stood on the floor where those models become real, physical things. That difference is the whole point of Grand Designs.
Grand Designs launched in April 2026 after a company-wide layoff opened an unexpected door. Rather than search for another seat at someone else’s table, Myles built his own. The first project set the tone: a quarter-scale, 3D-printed trade-show model of the Vortex V12 wood chipper, designed from production CAD data.
Nine years of engineering — mechanical and electrical design, manufacturing engineering, continuous improvement, and PLM administration — don’t fit on a business card. But they show up in every file the studio delivers.

Every decision filtered through conviction. Honest timelines, honest pricing, honest work — no shortcuts.
"Good enough" isn't in the vocabulary. Each deliverable is measured against the best work we've done.
Your IP is yours. We never share, resell, or reproduce your designs without written permission.
Trust earned through demonstrated work, not inflated claims. What you read here is what you'll get.
Every role added a layer. The shop floor taught design-for-manufacturing. GM taught scale. DYNA taught the full product lifecycle. Grand Designs brings it all together.
